The United States Gaelic Athletic Association (USGAA) and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Inc. (LAOH) is proud to announce an exciting collaboration to promote Irish culture, heritage, and sports across the United States. This partnership brings together two influential organizations dedicated to fostering community, preserving traditions, and building a strong foundation for future generations.
The USGAA, the governing body for Gaelic games in the United States, is committed to expanding the reach of traditional Irish sports, such as Gaelic football, hurling, and camogie across the United States. These games not only celebrate athleticism but also serve as a cultural bridge, connecting Irish Americans with their heritage while also introducing many others to the culture of Gaelic Games. Similarly, the LAOH, an organization with deep roots in Irish-American history, has been a steadfast advocate for education, charity, and cultural preservation since its founding in 1894.

Through this partnership, the USGAA and LAOH aim to:
- Promote Irish Sports and Culture: Organize community events, workshops, and tournaments to introduce Gaelic games to new audiences and provide opportunities for individuals of all ages to engage with Irish traditions.
- Support Youth Development: Collaborate on youth programs that combine sports, education, and cultural activities to inspire the next generation to embrace their heritage.
- Empower Communities: Enhance local initiatives that foster unity, cultural appreciation, and the spirit of volunteerism within Irish-American communities nationwide.
“We are thrilled to join forces with the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Inc.,” said USGAA Chairperson Paul Keane. “This partnership highlights our shared commitment to community life across the United States and creating meaningful opportunities for people to connect through sports and culture.”
LAOH President Mary Ann Lubinsky, echoed these sentiments: “The LAOH is honored to partner with the USGAA to promote our rich Irish traditions. Together, we can provide inspiration through our shared heritage and strengthen the bonds within our communities.”
