October 3, 1981 was the end of the Hunger Strikes. 45 years on, the courage and sacrifice of the 1981 Hunger Strikers continues to inspire Irish republicans across this island.
Pat Sheehan was on Hunger Strike for 55 days when it ended. He joined us for a conversation remembering the experience and the work that continues from then until this day.
