Studio 3 LIVE: An Irish Christmas With Michael Londra Recognized in Entertainment — Long Form Content Category
The team behind the acclaimed Public Television series Ireland with Michael has earned an Upper Midwest Emmy® Award nomination for Studio 3 LIVE: An Irish Christmas With Michael Londra, a festive music special produced and presented by Iowa PBS.
The program was nominated in the Entertainment — Long Form Content category as part of the 2026 Upper Midwest Emmy® Awards, presented by the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Hosted by Iowa PBS’s Mickey Davis, the hour-long special features Irish singer, producer and Ireland with Michael host Michael Londra performing beloved Irish favorites, traditional Christmas music and original songs. Blending live music with personal stories of Irish Christmas traditions, the program brings together Londra’s band, Irish dancers, traditional musicians and the Ames Chamber Artists for a warm and uplifting celebration of the season.
“This nomination is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the extraordinary team that brought this program to life,” said Londra. “Iowa has become my home, and creating this celebration with Iowa PBS, our musicians, dancers, singers and production crew was incredibly meaningful to me. Ireland with Michael is a Public Television travel and culture series hosted by internationally acclaimed Irish singer and producer Michael Londra. The 2026 Upper Midwest Emmy® Awards Ceremony will be held Saturday, October 17, in Bloomington, Minnesota.
