T’is Done!
Hopefully you have read that iIrish is moving – T’is Done! We have more room, better organization, and more advertisers in the area. The only issue so far is there is not an ice cream shop within walking distance – woe is me…
Besides trying to find a successful sales rep, and the move, and the festival and this issue editing then sending off to print and … We have seen remarkable progress in the Irish Unity efforts since I last wrote to you. Judge Mentel’s A Legal Look; and John Myers’ Donnybrook are two great columnists to follow to keep abreast of the (finally) fast moving changes that are still “Under Construction,” but are on a solid and growing base of a one Ireland for all.
Welcome to Emily Barno Earnest, who joins our team this month, writing about Irish sports and other things for women. Emily is an accomplished Gaelic Football and Camogie player, and a talented writer. So happy to have her be part of iIrish.
Congrats to the Mighty Lisa O’Rourke, celebrating her 12th Anniversary writing the Akron Irish column for iIrish. Festivals are in full swing, though affected by the smokin’ hot or simply smokin’ weather, while its hot.
With the return to good (it’s all relative) health, we are restarting our iIrish Ireland Tours. This year we will head out in May, for 10 days, visiting a few well-known blocks of beauty, and many that are not, but should be.
