How do I submit a story, book, arts or music for review consideration? What are your deadlines?
Story ideas, content and columns can be submitted to publisher John O’Brien, Jr. at [email protected]. Submission does NOT guarantee publication.
Column submissions are accepted by the 8th of each month for the following month.
What’s the Craic? Events and gigs must be submitted by the 8th of the month for the following month. Listings are free to current advertisers and $25 for others.
What’s the Craic? Submissions MUST be in the following format. Any submissions not in this format (Do Not list the month or the day) cannot be accepted and are deleted.
8th – New Barleycorn, 9th – Brigid’s Cross, 11th – Dulahan, 12th – Marys Lane, etc…

How do I subscribe?
Visit our Subscribe tab. Subscriptions are delivered First Class US Mail, generally a day or two before the issue hits the streets. All major credit cards are accepted, or mail a check (made out) to iIrish 14615 Triskett Road Cleveland, Ohio 44111-3123. Subscriptions are $40 for one year, $75 for two years, or $100 for three years. Click here to subscribe!
How much does it cost to advertise?
iIrish offers a multitude of print and digital platforms to meet your advertising needs. Print, Digital, eBulletin, website, social media’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn; Podcast ads and sponsorships are all available individually or in any combination by contacting John O’Brien at [email protected]
The print edition is 13,000 copies, distributed through more than 450+ locations (the complete list is found under the Distribution Menu), including Marcs and Giant Eagle grocery stores and Leader Drug and CVS drug stores. The interactive issue (clicking on an ad on the iIrish website will take our readers directly to your website) is housed on our www.iIrish.us website for free to advertisers and readers. All issues from our seventeen years are archived on iIrish.us and have a shelf life of forever.
The iIrish eBulletin goes out every 2nd Wednesday.
iIrish social media and Web includes Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, and iIrish.us. They average over 68,000 engagements per month, we post daily to all four.
The advertising rate depends on the size and frequency of your ad package. The cost per month drops as the frequency increases. Download our rate card here.
