Sean Brown’s family have been forced to take their fight for truth and justice directly to Britain’s Ministry of Defence & Westminster.
The British government must end its cruel campaign of delay and denial, & respect the High Court’s ruling for a public inquiry into his murder.
John Finucane, Sinn Féin MP for Belfast North said, “Twenty-eight years on from his killing, it is shameful that Sean Brown’s family are still being denied the truth.
“Today, Sinn Féin MPs stood with his family outside Westminster to support their campaign for a public inquiry — the only mechanism to deliver justice.
“It is time for the truth. The British government must end its cruel campaign of delay & denial.”

Sinn Féin’s Órfhlaith Begley, West Tyrone MP said, ”Sean Brown’s family have travelled to London today to continue their campaign for justice.
“The British government must end its cruel campaign of delay and denial.
“Only a public inquiry can deliver truth for the Brown family.”
Dáire Hughes, Sinn Féin MP for Newry & Armagh said, “Proud to stand with Siobhan and Clare, the daughters of Sean Brown, as they and the Pat Finucane Centre bring their campaign for a public inquiry right to the heart of the British political establishment.
“The disrespect of the British government towards the family of Seán Brown, murdered in 1997, in their pursuit of truth has been disgraceful.
“The Brown family deserve to know the full truth about what happened to their much loved husband, father and brother.
“It is time for truth.
“It is time for a full public inquiry into the murder of Sean Brown.”
