Brigid Returns for 2025 Celebration
The event is a musical celebration of Brigid, Celtic Goddess and Patron Saint of Ireland. BRIGID 2023 was named “Best New Event” and both the 2023 and 2024 programs received “Bronze” for Best Event Overall by the International Festival and Events Association.New this year is Women and Whiskey, a pre-show curated tasting experience featuring women-owned distilleries.
Featured BRIGID performers include:
· Grammy®-Awarded and Emmy-Nominated Eileen Ivers
· Pittsburgher and Irish music masters, Katie Grennan and John Williams
· Ally the Piper, social media famous, multi-instrumentalist and singer with a specialty in bagpipes. Ally is, by far, the most followed bagpiper on social media. She was awarded 2023’s Piper of the Year.
· Morgan Bullock, the first black female touring dancer of Riverdance and 2022 recipient of the Presidential Distinguished Service Award presented by Ireland’s President Michael D. Higgins.
