Special Edition: Working with Our Nation Abroad to Build a New & United Ireland
a Chara,
First of all many thanks for your support through the recent election. The ballot boxes have been opened, and the votes have been counted.
Sinn Féin will return to the next Dáil as the second-largest party, adding two additional seats and consolidating the massive gains of 2020. The old two-party system is over, and Sinn Féin is the leading alternative to Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael.
Unfortunately, the numbers are there for Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael to continue their coalition that has created the crises in housing, health care, and cost of living. A government that has left a generation with no option but to emigrate. A government that has refused to plan, prepare or advocate for Irish Unity.
At the beginning of this election campaign, Mary Lou McDonald wrote a letter to the diaspora saying, “Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are depending on your silence. In this election make your voice heard.“
Many of you raised your voices to be heard and we thank you for that. Sinn Féin is committed to working with our nation abroad to build a new and united Ireland. A place to which you can return. A place you can call home.
We hope that you continue on this road with us. Please share and forward this letter with your friends, family, and colleagues, and encourage them and others to sign up for updates and follow us on our social media channels. Look our for our regular weekly newsletter with all the latest news, analysis, and events to be delivered straight to your inbox on Friday morning.
Together we can build a new and united Ireland. Let your voice be heard!
Is mise,
Ciarán

“Tomorrow our team of 39 Sinn Féin TDs will meet at Leinster House. A team that is firmly on the side of workers, families, and communities. A team determined to ensure our young people can have the prosperous future they deserve here at home.
“Hundreds of thousands of people voted for change. I know there is real disappointment that Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael seem dead set on picking up where they left off before the election.
“But be absolutely certain of this – we will never give up. Too much is at stake. The work for a better future continues right now.”
– Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald
