Bipartisan US Congressional Commission holds hearing on pending British gov inquiry into collusion in murder of Pat Finucane
The bipartisan Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission held a hearing on the pending British government inquiry into collusion in the brutal murder of the human rights lawyer Patrick Finucane this week.
The hearing was addressed by Geraldine Finucane, widow of murdered human rights lawyer Patrick Finucane, Michael Finucane, son, Katherine Finucane, daughter, and John Finucane MP, son of murdered human rights lawyer Patrick Finucane.
The Commission is charged with promoting, defending and advocating for international human rights as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other relevant human rights instruments. The Commission undertakes public education activities, provides expert human rights advice and encourages members of Congress to actively engage in human rights matters.
