The Mark Heffernan/Margaret Judge Divisions of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, in association with the City of Akron, present the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 9. The parade will kick-off at noon, beginning at Cedar/Main and moving northbound on South Main Street to Bowery Street in downtown Akron.
The parade will feature high school and grade school bands, non-profit organizations, businesses, animal groups, floats, and more. Following the awards ceremony, the Ancient Order of Hibernians will sponsor a celebration at their AOH Clubroom, located at 2000 Brown St. The celebration will feature entertainment by Akron’s finest Irish talent including dancers, bands, local legends and traditional Irish fare.
