Annual Green and Red Ball at the InterContinental Cleveland, September 28
The 2019 Annual Ball of the Mayo Society of Greater Cleveland takes place at the InterContinental Cleveland, 9801 Carnegie Avenue, and honors Myles C Gallagher as Mayo Society Person of the Year. The Honoree founded and heads the Superlative Group, which specializes in the sale of naming rights and corporate sponsorships for public and private clients. The Ball tops off a weekend conference bringing County Mayo officials and business leaders to Cleveland to enhance collaboration.
A cocktail reception with traditional Irish music begins the event at 6:30pm, followed by dinner, the Murphy Irish dancers, the music of Mary’s Lane, and a raffle. Guests may buy raffle tickets for prize baskets on site.
The Conference, Ball, and raffle support the Society’s mission of forging connections between County Mayo and our local Irish community. Funds raised enable students from John Carroll University, as well as National University of Ireland Galway, to participate in a semester abroad scholarship program, among other charitable aims of the Society.
