Responsibilities
Interns will assist in:
- driving social media engagement and expansion through postings, creativity and innovation;
- contribute to building followers on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram through adopting best practices;
- take advantage of online learning opportunities;
- create and populate the iIrish Storybank & Library with our amazing web designer;
- update the website with stories from each new issue and evergreen stories;
- assist in designing and implementing marketing studies and online polls for insights on readers and advertisers, measure and improve content and build brand recognition;
- learn and apply SEO best practices to improve reach;
- work with staff to add video components to build out the website to reach more people, more often.With your help, we will bring the Irish movers, shakers and music makers to our readers’ and advertiser’s door.

How to apply
Interns are paid $15 per hour. Writing students will have the opportunity to submit work for publishing consideration, but this is an online and content marketing focused position, working remotely.
Interns participate in two Zoom monthly planning sessions and check-in as needed. Numerous networking events occur each month and writing mentorships are available. No sales are required. ]
